“Are you sure it’s safe here?!”
Kim Kardashian has never really gotten over her harrowing Paris robbery.
Months after the incident, in which she was bound and held at gunpoint as robbers stole more than $10 million in jewelry, the 36-year-old had a major emotional meltdown while on vacation with friends. During her first trip to Mexico since the robbery, the reality star had a panic attack and had to call for help, her eyes full of tears.
In a new preview clip for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the mom-of-two broke down while speaking to pal Joe Francis — whose house she was staying at — on the phone.
“I just have anxiety,” she says while bawling in the video. “Are you sure it’s safe here?!”
“Yeah, Kim it’s safe there, I promise,” Joe, who moved to Mexico after his Girls Gone Wildfranchise filed for bankruptcy in 2015, assured her. “I promise you it’s safe. I have my kids there. It’s safe.”
“Do you promise?” Kim cried, wiping away her tears.
In a separate confession, the Selfish author revealed she developed major anxiety following the robbery. According to her, she would start panicking over dangerous hypothetical situations whenever she was alone.
“Ever since Paris I just like go through this worst case scenario mode in my head,” she admitted.
The mom-of-two continued:
“I was so excited to come on this trip and I had no idea that I was gonna end up feeling this way. But it hit me right as we were getting off the plane that all of these people at the airport are gonna see 17 or 18 girls all with our Chanel bags, you know Louis Vuitton this and it just like hit me. We’re the biggest target ever.”
Panicking over concerns, she cried, “I’m just like, ‘Why did I come?!’”
